Summary

Inkput collects no personal data. All your journal entries and app data are stored locally on your device. Nothing leaves your device unless you turn on optional iCloud sync, which keeps your data within your own private iCloud account (see below).

Data Storage

• All journal entries, notepads, and settings are stored exclusively on your device
• No data is transmitted to external servers, except optional iCloud sync you enable (see "iCloud Sync" below)
• No account creation is required

Data Collection

Inkput does not collect, store, or transmit:

• Personal information
• Usage analytics
• Device identifiers
• Location data
• Any other user data

iCloud Sync (Optional)

Inkput includes an optional iCloud sync feature. It is off by default. If you turn it on:

• Your journal data syncs across your own devices using your private iCloud account (container iCloud.xyz.funclosure.Inkput)
• Sync happens entirely within Apple's iCloud infrastructure — Inkput has no server of its own, and the developer has no access to your synced data
• You can turn sync off at any time in Preferences; your data stays on your device either way
• Deleting data locally removes it from your other synced devices the next time they sync

Sentiment Analysis

Inkput includes an optional sentiment analysis feature powered by Apple's on-device NaturalLanguage framework. This analysis:

• Runs entirely on your device
• Never sends your text to any server
• Does not share results with any third party

Third-Party Services

Inkput does not integrate with any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services.

Children's Privacy

Because Inkput does not collect any personal data, it is safe for users of all ages.

Data Deletion

Since all data is stored locally on your device, you can delete your data at any time by:

• Deleting individual entries within the app
• Uninstalling the app (removes all app data)
